1970: The business idea of Gianni Guerra
Tired to be an employee at the Monreali
Gears company in Reggio emilia, Gianni guerra decides, with a colleague, to open a small company of gears manufacturing. A technician and a salesman, together put the activity into gear! The '70s are very flourishing and full of opportunities, the activity wants to expand, so some people are hired.
1980: G.S.I. Gears was born
The company changes it name and took the actual one:
G.S.I. (Guerra Sartori Ingranaggi). In the company enters also Guerra's wife emma Sartori, who takes care of the accountancy. The structure starts to become cleares and more organized: they bought the first owned building and organized a technical office.
1990: the company moves and it was created the quality department
After having moved to
Cadelbosco di Sopra, actual operative and legal headquarters, il was introduced the quality department.
In ‘91, the eldest child of the Guerra’s Family entered the company to manage the production and the logistics. From this moment on the idea is more and more to diversify the production, an example is the introduction of the turning department.
In ‘98, G.S.I. worked to reach
ISO 9001:2015 certification, which allowed the company to ameliorate its structure from the organization point of view and to work in the more modern sales logics.
2000: the expansion
At the beginning of 2000 entered also the second-born Rossana Guerra, who allowed the company to
supply also the foreign countries thanks to her knowledge of the foreign languages. In the same years, the sales office implemented a purchase office.
The fairs and the implementation of machines to complete the productive process
Thanks to the specialization in the production sectors, the company decided to participate to several
fairs. First of all in Italy, than in Europe. To complete the internal machining processes, it has been included the
internal and external gear tooth grinding.
The General Management
The company moved from a family carried business idea to a development and innovation process.
In 2020 the management is conducted from Roberto Guerra, who decided to give the company an additional leap. He better organized all the responsibilities such as the logistics, the quality and the production. In the company, it was introduced an engineer in the tachnical department and a marketing department to ameliorate G.S.I.’s digital communication.
