Shot peening

Shot peening is a mechanical manufacturing process that must take place in a highly controlled and rigorous environment.

It consists in bombarding the surface of the gear with a controlled jet of microspheres projected at high speed.

The result of the processing is a residual compression tension of the surface layer such that the resistance under stress is increased.

Carbon finish with tungsten crabide (WC/C)

The carbon finish is a layer composed of Tungsten Carbide (WC/C) lamellae alternating with amorphous Carbon lamellae that is deposited on the surface of the piece through Magnetron Sputtering technology.

It is used to prevent adhesive phenomena of seizure and cold welding, especially thanks to the low coefficient of friction.

Tungsten Carbide Finishing

Tungsten carbide finishing is an inorganic compound, part of the hard metal category.

It is used in industry because thanks to its high hardness and wear resistance. It is perfect for use on machine parts subject to wear and high temperatures.

The tungsten carbide finish guarantees extreme wear resistance and an excellent finish grade.
