SPLINE SHAFT
The
shaft is a
mechanical transmission system, which transmits the movement through other rotating elements connected to it.
We produce different types of
spline shafts for the most varied fields of application, such as:
- automotive
- earth moving machines
- agricultural machinery
- wind power
- hydraulic.
TRANSMISSION SYSTEMS
Within the large family of transmission systems there are several shafts:
- the crankshaft which has a toothing used to transmit power and motion to the connecting rod,
- the gear shaft that is applied on most vehicles and is used to shift the gear. It looks like a rotating shaft on which there are toothed wheels,
- the toothed shaft is a type of rotating system normally of circular section and used to transmit power or a rotational motion,
- the splined shaft is often found in conjunction with the rotor-hub and it is used to give a change in speed.
