Agritechnica 2025: Smaller crowds, less electric... but more real connections. My impressions from Hall 16

novembre 19, 2025
Agritechnica 2025 was different. I spent almost all of it in Hall 16, side by side with the world of components: transmissions, gears, precision mechanics. Not the finished machines, but everything that allows them to function. It's precisely from here that certain changes in the market are best perceived.

The first impression was clear: smaller turnouts, less fanfare, less attention to full electric. Two years ago, it seemed like the dominant theme; today, it's relegated to the background. The overall atmosphere was more sober, more concrete, focused on real problems and less on futuristic slogans.

Agritechnica 2025: A more technical and focused fair

For GSI, despite the overall decline, Agritechnica 2025 was very positive. We worked well at the stand, with clear communication and an active reception. But above all, with a genuine focus on relationships. The result was tangible: select contacts, a few general interlocutors, and a dozen or so companies genuinely interested in launching concrete projects.

Analyzing the profiles collected, clear trends emerged. Most visitors came from Germany, Italy, and Northern Europe, with some interesting visitors from non-EU countries as well. This broad geographic distribution was useful for opening up sales opportunities in various sectors.

Regarding roles, we spoke with technical and decision-making figures: powertrain designers, production managers, process engineers, and structured buyers. There were no scattered contacts; everyone was focused on clear and concrete needs.

Agritechnica 2025: Real Needs, Very Specific Requests

Talking to visitors to the stand, we perceived a strong consistency in the requests. The recurring themes were not trends, but problems to be solved. Speed in prototyping, reverse engineering skills, optimization of gear teeth for real-world loads, improvement of existing gearboxes, noise reduction, and backlash reduction. All very straightforward.

Those approaching were looking for expertise, technical ability, but also financial sustainability. Not cover-the-world partners, but solid interlocutors capable of withstanding market pressure. The willingness to engage in dialogue was high, but selective. Only those who immediately demonstrated an understanding of the problem were truly listened to.

Agritechnica 2025: Relationships Born in Person

An hour at the stand is worth more than ten emails. And once again, Agritechnica 2025 confirmed this. Without filters, without video calls, without "see you later": looking each other in the eye accelerates understanding, brings out concrete solutions, and builds immediate trust.

This is how the most solid projects are born. From direct contact, from the opportunity to discuss a prototype in front of a sample, from sharing a real technical problem. At the trade fair, everything moves faster because people listen more attentively and with less formality.

Yes, trade fairs are expensive. But they continue to work. And Agritechnica 2025 is proof of this. Requests, ideas, and opportunities converge in just a few days. And realities meet that, without that context, probably would never have crossed paths.

What do I take home? Less showcase news, but more substance. Fewer people, but better connections. Less show, but more content. And above all, more relationships. The kind that really make the difference.
