The final control and validation phase of the production process is one of the most critical of all prototyping. How many times does the salesman have the pressure of the customer who wants the pieces absolutely within week xy and the testing, which has to produce a whole mass of documentation, is in trouble? Often, I think it also happens to the most virtuous, this is because the final phase is one of the most complex and long. But, more than anything else, because the quality control has control frequencies that are dictated by the technical documentation provided by the customer. which means that it is necessary to make it clear to the latter that a process needs care and time to be validated. What does quality mean?

Today, I would like to draw your attention to this essential sector and to words. We rarely reflect on their precise meaning. Do you really know what quality means in our sector? It includes all the phases of market research, design and manufacture of a mechanical part. Testing is the glue between sales, technical office and production, in fact it must ensure that all parameters meet the customer's requests.

Why is validating a process important?

Quality control and assurance has the fundamental role of making the process repeatable and constant. This is essential because only in this way can a production go in series, just as it is possible to decrease the control frequency on batches produced in a mass way. However, there are some random and special variables that slow down this mechanism. In the first case there may be unidentifiable factors while in the second they can be analyzed.
